What's inside Leaves

All leave types covered

Annual, sick, casual, maternity (10 weeks), paternity, Hajj, bereavement, and unpaid — with the right defaults and the right limits per Jordan Labour Law.

Hijri and Gregorian side by side

Every leave shows both dates. Ramadan and Hajj requests work natively; HR doesn't translate dates in their head anymore.

Balance tracking

Annual balance accrues monthly with carry-over rules per policy. Employees see what they have left; the system blocks requests that exceed it.

Approval chains

Configure two-step chains (manager + HR), parallel approvers, or escalation rules. Each step shows up as a push notification on mobile.

Team coverage view

Calendar shows everyone's leave at a glance, with conflict warnings when too many people from one team are out the same week.

Documents auto-attached

Sick leaves prompt for a doctor's note. Maternity asks for the medical certificate. Documents store against the request and the employee's profile.

Frequently asked

Does it really support Hijri dates?

Does it really support Hijri dates?
Yes — Hijri is a first-class citizen, not a translation. Calendar pickers, leave requests, balances, and reports all show Hijri alongside Gregorian. Ramadan and Hajj requests use the Hijri calendar by default.
How does balance accrual work?
Annual leave accrues monthly (default: 14 days/year for Jordan, 21 for Saudi under 5 years, configurable per tenant). Sick leave is granted as a yearly allocation. Carry-over rules — max days, expiry — are configurable per policy.
Can I have a two-step approval?
Yes. Configure approval chains per leave type — single manager, manager + HR, or longer chains for senior leaves. Each step is a push notification on mobile. Bulk-approve from the inbox view.
How does maternity leave work?
Jordan defaults to 10 weeks (70 days) paid maternity per the Labour Law. Saudi is 10 weeks, UAE is 60 days. The system pre-calculates the start and end dates based on the expected delivery date, and pauses other accruals during the leave.
Can my team see who's out when?
Yes. The team-coverage view shows everyone's leave on a single calendar with conflict warnings — "3 of 4 people from Marketing are out the same week." Managers see their direct reports; HR sees everyone.
Can I export leave reports?
Yes — by employee, branch, leave type, or date range, in CSV. Or schedule a monthly leave-balance report to email itself to HR on the 1st.
